BASRAH CRUDE OIL

Basrah Light Crude Oil is a medium-light crude oil from southern Iraq. Due to its characteristics, it is suitable for a wide range of refinery configurations and can be processed into valuable refined products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene and other petroleum products.
Basrah Light is an established crude oil grade in international crude oil trading and is in demand among refineries and international trading partners worldwide.

Basrah Medium Crude Oil is a medium-grade crude oil from southern Iraq, with characteristics between Basrah Light and Basrah Heavy. Its specific properties make it suitable for refineries designed to process medium and sour crude oil grades.
Basrah Medium serves as an important feedstock for the production of various fuels and other refined petroleum products and is an established grade in international crude oil trading.

Basrah Heavy Crude Oil is a heavier crude oil grade with lower API gravity and higher sulfur content compared to Basrah Light. Due to its characteristics, processing may require more advanced refinery technologies as well as additional upgrading and desulfurization processes.
Basrah Heavy is used as a feedstock for the production of heavy fuels, bitumen, as well as other petroleum and petrochemical products.
