Bonny Light Crude Oil (BLCO) is a premium light, sweet crude oil produced in Nigeria and is one of the most sought-after crude grades in the international market. It is primarily extracted from the Niger Delta and exported through the Bonny Export Terminal.

BLCO is characterized by a high API gravity and very low sulfur content, making it highly attractive to refineries. Its excellent refining properties allow for efficient production of high-quality fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.

 Due to its consistent quality, established export infrastructure, and strong global demand—particularly from Europe, the United States, and Asia—Bonny Light Crude Oil is regarded as a premium benchmark crude in global energy trading.
